PRIVATE WINE TOURS

PLANNED  |  LOCAL |  YOURS

Private wine tours in the Margaret River Region, for guests who'd rather not build their own itinerary. I offer two ways to do that: a fully personalised tour, planned around you, or a set package if you'd rather choose from something already put together. Wine is what brings most people here, but it doesn't have to be the whole day - non-drinkers are just as welcome, and the region's other producers, forests, coast, and galleries can all shape the itinerary instead. These tours are perfect for first-time visitors or guests who value local knowledge.

PERSONALISED TOUR

Planned around you

We talk first: what you like drinking, how you like to spend a day, whether lunch matters more than a fourth cellar door. Then I build the itinerary around that, book the venues, and drive it myself.

You get a day shaped around your interests, not a fixed circuit, with the flexibility to adjust as it unfolds.

FAQ

How do I book?

Enquire with your preferred date, group size, and which tour you're interested in. We'll talk it through, I'll send a quote, and the booking's confirmed once the deposit's settled.

What is the difference between a personalised tour and a set tour?

A personalised tour is built around you — we talk first, I plan the day around your interests, and it's charged by the hour with a four-hour minimum. Set tours are fixed: a set itinerary, a set duration, and one price for the whole day.

What's included?

Set tours are all-inclusive — tastings, the wine-paired lunch, and the driving are all covered in the price. On a personalised tour, tasting fees and meals are settled directly at each venue, unless we've agreed otherwise when you book.

How many people can come?

Up to 7 guests. Every tour is private, so it's exclusively yours for the day regardless of group size.

Where do you pick up from? And do you pick up from my accommodation?

Yes! I will pick you up at your door step across the Margaret River Region — from Busselton to Augusta and everywhere in between - confirmed when you book.

Can I choose which wineries we visit?

On a personalised tour, yes — that's the point of it. There are around 100 cellar doors in the region and I'll recommend based on what you're after. Set tours have a fixed itinerary, so the venues are already decided.

How long does a tour run?

Personalised tours are charged hourly with a four-hour minimum, and we agree the total duration in advance. Set tours run to a fixed schedule — I'll confirm the timing when you enquire.

I don't drink, can I still come?

Whilst our set tours are wine-focused, our personalised tours are built around you. The region has some many fantastic producers, artists and natural attractions, that your personalised tour does not need to be focused on wine at all.

Are your tours good for special occasions?

Yes — birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations of any kind. Let me know when you enquire and I'll factor it in.

Can we change the plan on the day?

On a personalised tour, within reason. More time somewhere, a shifted schedule, as long as it stays within the itinerary we've confirmed and that it follows the cancellation policy of the venues selected. Set tours follow a fixed itinerary, so there's less room to move.

Are these tours family friendly?

Guests need to be 7 or older, per WA child restraint law. At least one guest aged 18+ needs to be on every booking.

How do I pay?

Deposit to confirm, balance 14 days before the service date. Credit card payments carry a 2.3% surcharge, or bank transfer with no fee.

What is your cancellation policy?

14+ days before: full refund. 7–14 days: 50% refund. Within 7 days, or no-shows: non-refundable. Full details in the Terms & Conditions.

What time does the tour start?

It depends on where you're staying and where we're heading — I'll confirm your pick-up time when the booking's made.

Do you operate every day?

Yes, 7 days a week. Good to note that not all wineries operate 7 days a week though, so schedules are subject to the venues opening hours and alternatives will be suggested if on your required day your preferred winery is not open.

How many wineries will we visit?

For personalised tours it depends on where you're staying and which cellar doors we're heading to — distances across the region vary a lot. On a full day with a three-course lunch, three wineries plus lunch is usually the right shape. More stops than that and you start rushing, which defeats the point.

Can you cater to dietary requirements?

Let me know when you book and I'll pass your requirements on to the venues in advance. The kitchens handle the food themselves, so I can't guarantee what they're able to accommodate — but flagging it early gives them the best chance to prepare.
